The Human Portrait Online Exhibition Reception
This event was held December 11, 2020. Click here to see what events are happening now!
A portrait tells a lot about a person. Their emotion. Their grit. Their story. There is no other genre of photography that displays human vulnerability in its rawest form. The Human Portrait is an exhibition of portraiture that shows this human connection.
To celebrate the photographers selected for The Human Portrait online exhibition, we will host an online opening reception on Friday, December 11 from 5:30pm-6:30pm CST via Zoom. Juror Jennifer Spelman will be in attendance and will speak about the winning photographs and why she selected them for this exhibition.
The photographers selected for the exhibition hail from all over Texas and the United States, as well as Canada, Germany, Hungary, and Australia. View all the winners and exhibitors for the online exhibition here.
This reception is free and open to all! You must RSVP to receive the Zoom meeting information. We will be giving away a free copy of the exhibition catalog during the online reception. All those attending will be eligible to win!

Since we strongly believe that photographs deserve to exist in real life, we’re also creating an exhibition catalog that will feature all of the selected images from The Human Portrait competition.
Exhibition catalogs will be available for purchase soon. Stay tuned!
