Judge’s Choice Winner: jmattison. DCP studio manager and Halloween enthusiast Jillian Patrick was the judge for this month and had this to say about Jo’s image: “The creativity and beauty of this spooky image by jmattison caught my eye immediately. Her use of double exposure mixed with the soft color palette gives the image a vintage feel that reminds me of photography from the 1920s. Her subject matter, like a child’s doll, is innocent but still eerie. I appreciate the subtle spookiness of this image. Jmattison did a great job of taking the contest topic and making it her own. Well done.”
