2020 Members Show: Contrast

Our first Members Show is a collection of 25 images from 20 members around the theme of contrast, a word loaded with meaning and open to many forms of visual interpretation.

This exhibition has closed early in an abundance of caution around the COVID-19 epidemic.

The theme for our first members competition is Contrast. It’s a word loaded with meaning and open to many forms of visual interpretation. Juried by DCP Executive Director Peter Poulides, the exhibition includes 25 photographs from 20 members. Peter looked for strong images that illustrated the idea of contrast whether it was about light, emotion, direction or any other dissimilarity, incongruity or juxtaposition.

Prizes were awarded to the top 3 photographs:

1st Place: Jacqueline Asplundh “Guardian of the Bones”
2nd Place: Clinton Kemp “Fire Hydrant No. 81”
3rd Place: Erin Emery McWhorter “Swept Ashore”
