Last February I discovered some apps that forecast the chances of colorful sunrises and sunsets based on weather conditions. This was my first evening to trust its prediction and it worked out. I chose to photograph the skyline from the Traveling Man sculpture in Deep Ellum. It was the evening of the Super Bowl and the bar across the street was lively and illuminated with pink neon and blue signage which added even more vibrance and complemented the sky colors.
