As part of DCP’s year of Women in Photography, join us in DCP’s gallery on Tuesday, April 18 from 6 to 8 pm for an in-person panel discussion among prominent photographers, artists, and educators discussing the critical role of women in photography.

Moderated by Texas Vignette president Jessica Brit Ingle, this discussion features local and national guest speakers, including Aline Smithson, a visual artist, editor, educator, and Memory is a Verb participant; Susan Kae Grant, a lens-based artist, educator, and proponent of photographic book arts; Nitashia Johnson, a Nigerian-American multimedia, fine art, and documentary photographer; and educator Allison V Smith, a portrait specialist and fine art photographer.

 

  • This in-person event is Tuesday, April 18 at Dallas Center for Photography (4756 Algiers Street, Dallas, 75207).
  • There is plenty of parking available along Algiers Street.
  • Doors open at 5:30pm. The event starts promptly at 6:00pm and ends at 8:00pm.
  • Tickets are $10 to attend the in-person event at DCP.
  • We expect this to be a sold out event so early registration is encouraged.
