This workshop is held at DCP from 10:00am-1:00pm. Registration Fee: $150

We are stripping photography down to its bare bones! Join us for a half day of tinkering and exploration that will connect students to the basic principles of photography and provide a fun introduction to one of the oldest picture taking methods.

In this workshop students will learn how to turn their existing digital camera into a pinhole camera, gain an understanding of exposure, and experiment with a variety of lighting and settings to create unique, dreamy, and imperfect photographs. Bring your DSLR or Mirrorless camera that accepts interchangeable lenses and we will provide the rest! A tripod is recommended, and we’ll have a few loaners. Previous experience with digital photography is not required. We’ll cover some basic digital processing to enhance your photos and the workshop will wrap up with a review of the images you shot. You’ll help create your pinhole lenses and can take them home with you to continue experimenting.
