Acro Cup selection event for the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships (Karolyi Ranch, 2014)
I was thrilled to be asked to photograph the Acro Cup competition for USA Gymnastics. Since the results of this competition would determine the athletes chosen to represent the US at Worlds, there was a lot of excitement and tension. This trio was poised at the edge of the floor, waiting for a signal from the judges to move onto the floor for their routine. The youngest of the trio couldn’t resist looking back at the spectators.
