What’s North Texas Giving Day?

Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event on September 19 designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits. From 6am-midnight on September 19, you can get up and give to the nonprofits you care about the most. Donate on September 19 here.

Consider giving to DCP on September 19

Dallas Center for Photography was founded on the belief that people with an interest in photography need a place to call home. Through our classes, workshops, events, and exhibitions in our new community gallery, we want to build a community and bring together creators and appreciators of photography – like you!

You can help us reach our goal of $5,000 on North Texas Giving Day! Your contribution will allow us to share the power of photography with those who otherwise would not have the opportunity. Check out our Giving Day profile and support us on September 19.

Double your donation to DCP.

Your donation can go even further. Thank you to Gulf Coast Small Business Lending and Robert Moore for being matching funders! Every $1 given during North Texas Giving Day will be matched up to $1,000.

Get started early.

Get a jump on donating and schedule your North Texas Giving Day gift starting September 9. Simply go to NorthTexasGivingDay.org between September 9 and September 18, and schedule your gift to DCP.

Want to pay by check? Mail your donation directly to DCP (4756 Algiers, Dallas 75207) between September 9 and 19 and we’ll make sure it’s entered into the North Texas Giving Day platform and counted toward DCP’s overall goal.

Join DCP on September 14 for a fun philanthropy fair at NorthPark Center featuring 30+ nonprofits hosting free interactive activities for all ages, as well as live performances from performing arts organizations.

DCP will be there from 10am-4pm with a photography-related activity and information on how your donation on Giving Day will help us further our mission to share the power of photography.
